Diamond Scott is the Facebook moniker of Chianti Means, the woman who jumped off Niagara Falls with her two children.
Numerous posts shared by Means on her Diamond Scott Facebook page revealed that she was battling depression after a split with the father of her second child, Jeff Wit.
Following the tragic incident, several of those posts have surfaced on Facebook and are going wildly viral.
One such post shared on Diamond Scott’s Facebook on October 1st read: “Everyone please leave me alone I’m in love with my daughter father❣️ I want my family back. Respectfully Idgaf what I said about him before or what anyone else thinks‼️”
A similar post from September 28, a few days before the prior post read: “I wish someone would love me because the man that’s supposed to does not.’
Another post from Means detailed how they broke up, revealing she pushed Jeff Wits away when she was pregnant.
Answering a question on why she broke up with her ex, she wrote, again on Facebook: “Cause I was a dumb a** pregnant b**** who swore up & down I ain’t want him,”
Other posts about her heartbreak litter her timeline, with a post in October reading: “‘I’m sick of irritation, anger, sadness, and rage,”
All these tragic posts culminated in a very tragic end on Monday, October 28th when Chianti Means and her two children jumped into Niagara Falls.
Reports indicate police were called around 9 p.m. on Monday regarding a family going over the rail on a small island between the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls.
