Christian Gonzalez, NYPD Officer with 104th Precinct Mourned Following Tragic Death

Christian Gonzalez, an NYPD officer is being remembered for his dedicated and astute service during his lifetime after he tragically passed away.

Gonzalez’s death has sparked speculation on social media over the lack of clarity from the NYPD, who have yet to release any official statement on the passing of their officer nor stated a cause of death.

News of Gonzalez’s death began making waves following a report from a law enforcement niche publication.

“NYPD police officer Christian Gonzalez, passed away unexpectedly off duty this morning,” their post shared on Thursday, October 31st, said.

The death of Gonzalez was also confirmed by a gathering of his fellow 104th precinct officers who paid their respects to their fallen colleague.

The New York City Benevolent Association (NYCPBA) shared photos from the gathering with the caption: “Heartbroken 104 Pct. members showing respect for our brother P.O. Christian Gonzalez, who passed away unexpectedly off duty this morning. Another brother taken from us far too soon. #RIP”

Aside from these posts, no official communication on Gonzalez’s death has been revealed, leading to speculation over his cause of death.

An NYC City Council Member praised Gonzalez for his work during his lifetime.

“PO Christian Gonzalez was not only an outstanding NCO in Ridgewood and Glendale but also an exceptional officer dedicated to serving our community. His untimely passing is deeply felt by all,” Robert Holden said. “We express our heartfelt condolences to the family of PO Gonzalez and the NYPD 104th Precinct family. May he rest in peace.”
