“I Married My Husband As A Virgin Despite Having 20 Boyfriends” – Regina Daniels Clarifies

Published by

Nigerian actress Regina Daniels recently addressed a wave of reactions following her comments about past relationships, reassuring fans and her husband, Ned Nwoko, with an important clarification. In a recent live session, Regina had mentioned that she once dated over 20 boyfriends, each offering different forms of support, whether financial, transportation, or thoughtful gifts. She shared, with a bit of humor, that she met her husband while out on a date with an ex-boyfriend, playfully adding, “You shouldn’t let your boyfriend stop you from meeting your soulmate.”

However, the remarks sparked unexpected backlash, leading Regina to take to social media to set the record straight. She explained that while she had many male friends who offered support, she had made a personal commitment to reserve her virginity for marriage. Regina revealed, “Yes, I had a lot of friends who were kind to me, but that never meant I owed them anything. I kept a promise to myself to save my virginity until marriage, and Ned was the one I chose for that special moment.”

She explained, “Hey everyone, I want to clarify that the ’20 boyfriends’ comment was meant to soothe my husband and educate young girls that having several male friends willing to do things for you doesn’t mean you owe them your body. And yes, I had many friends, but I promised to keep my virginity until marriage. And guess what? I did! It’s a big flex.

“But hold on! What did you guys expect? It’s your little beautiful sweetheart, Regina Daniels. Of course, men and women would admire me. So everyone, please chill.”
