A Medical Doctor with the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC), Dr Fred Salawu, has sparked intense social media discussions after discharging Salifu Amoako’s son, Elrad from the hospital.
Aside from discharging Elrad, Dr Salawu has authored a letter to the Ghana Police Service, claiming the young man is not fit to be interrogated by the Police.
In a letter that has been made public, the doctor said Elrad will be sent home and continue to receive his treatment but will not be in good enough condition for Police interrogation.
He also said he will inform the police once the treatment has been completed.
