Lauren Holbrook, a 2023 graduate of the Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy in Birmingham, Alabama, has tragically died in a fatal wreck.
Holbrook, of Birmingham, lost her life in a car accident of which few details have been revealed.
A family friend of her grandma’s announced the shocking news to friends online, sending condolences to the family.
“Please be in prayers for my sweet Bestie Myra Franklin! Her granddaughter Lauren Holbrook had a fatal car accident! She was a beautiful & sweet girl!” Nancy Burnham Crow revealed.
Holbrook, originally from Alpine Alabama, graduated form her Pharmacy course at Samford in April last year.
She celebrated the achievement at the time, sharing graduation photos with a cheeky caption.
“Dr Holbrook? That’s my dad. Well, I guess you can call me that if you want. From now on, I am officially Lauren Holbrook, PharmD, MPH,” she celebrated.
Details for her memorial and burial will be released by the family.
