Vivian Shetland said she’s still struggling to come to terms with the news that Kelsey is no more.

“I didn’t believe it yesterday. I still don’t really believe it today. Who knows when it will actually process in my brain that you’re gone. Who knew that the last time I visited home would be the last time I saw you, the last time I got to hug you, dance with you,” she said.

Shetland went on to praise Lewis for teaching her dancing and always being there for her, describing her as one of her ‘favorite people’.

“I will forever remember our dance practices, your lessons, the laughs, the tears, the hugs, the love you showed me,” Shetland added.

A memorial is being organized for her on November 2nd at the Temecula Stampede.
