Timothy Echols, a young Decatur Alabama man is being mourned by friends, family and colleagues following his tragic death in a car crash.

Echols passed Wednesday following a wreck in Decatur. His grandmother and other friends confirmed his passing and remembered him as a genuine and absolutely delightful human being to be around.

Timothy graduated Calhoun Community College. He worked at Serra Toyota of Decatur and co-workers and friends shared loving tributes in his honor.

“He was so kind, very polite, with a smile that would make your day…he was an angel, Glenda Cole,” his ‘work mom’, said of Tim.

Other friends remembered him for his exploits on the basketball court.

“Timothy Echols you will be missed Im gon miss hoopin wit yu but Ik you are in a better place now. Fly high,” said Darnell Long.

Details for final rites and memorial for Echols will be released by the family.
