Big Brother Naija Season 9 winner, Kellyrae, has opened up about the overwhelming number of requests for financial help he’s been receiving from family and friends.

In an interview with media personality Hero Daniels, Kellyrae shared that since revealing he gave his wife, Kassia, N55 million from his prize money, he’s been flooded with demands for assistance.

However, he explained that despite his win, he’s not in a secure financial position to fulfill these requests, citing the high cost of living and personal expenses. Kellyrae kindly asked for patience and understanding, urging those seeking financial favors to give him time to settle and prioritize his own needs.

“I started receiving calls from people close to us after I mentioned giving Kassia N55 million, and they were asking for their own share of the prize money,” he explained. “I just want to say, I’m not a rich man yet, please. The money is big, but things are expensive. Please allow a brother to settle first.”

With humor and honesty, Kellyrae’s message was a reminder that success doesn’t instantly solve financial challenges.
