In the wake of the tragic accident involving Bishop Salifu Amoako’s son, which claimed the lives of two young girls, Prophet Suglo Prosper, General Overseer of Prayer Army International, has decided to throw his support behind the embattled man of God. Instead of addressing the concerns about the underaged son behind the wheel, Prophet Prosper has focused on defending Bishop Salifu, stating that the criticism aimed at him is unfounded.
In a Facebook post, Prophet Prosper asked, “Was he the one driving the car?” implying that the blame being placed on Bishop Salifu is unjust. He continued, “It was the son who caused the harm, not the father. Why not let the law handle the situation?” Prophet Prosper seems to think that the problem lies with the people showing “hatred” towards men of God, rather than with the actual events of the accident.
He even went on to say, “Before you attack a prophet, check his track record.” But rather than helping to ease the situation, many netizens seem tired of hearing yet another religious figure try to deflect the blame from the real issue. People are questioning why Prophet Prosper is more focused on defending the prophet rather than acknowledging the real tragedy: the loss of two innocent lives.
To wrap up, Prophet Prosper offered his prayers for the healing of both families involved, but many are left wondering whether his response is really what’s needed at this time.
