Nahim Jorge Bonilla, Mandrake Miami Owner’s Home Raided by FBI

Nahim Jorge Bonilla, the founder and owner of the well-known Miami restaurant Mandrake is in the news following reports of an FBI raid on his home.

Federal agents stormed the plush mansion of Bonilla located at 3914 Island Estates Drive in Aventura, a 6,697-square-foot property the businessman purchased from DJ Khaled for $4.8 million in June 2019.

The early morning raid was conducted on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024. Law enforcement officials said they were carrying out ‘court-ordered law enforcement activity’ at the address, according to Only in Dade. It’s not clear at this moment if Nahim Jorge Bonilla was arrested or not.

Bonilla born April 21, 1988 (age 36) is well-known as the founder of Ruido Callejero Music and Mandrake Miami. He married Melissa Granda in 2015 and the duo have been credited by Forbes in playing a crucial role in marketing Latino music to a global audience. Granda is an event producer and handles creative duties of the label while Bonilla serves in a managerial role as CEO. The couple own restaurants, bars, nightclubs and a record label.
