Nigerian Actress Angela Okorie Shuts Down Eviction Rumors – ‘I’m Not Owing Any Rent’

Published by

Nigerian actress Angela Okorie is addressing rumors about her Lagos mansion after reports suggested she was evicted from the property. A viral video and claims circulated online, alleging that she was behind on rent for two years and had been kicked out of her home.

While Angela had previously denied owing rent, she took to Instagram to set the record straight, emphasizing that the eviction story is false and that she is ready to defend her reputation. As a mother, she expressed her frustration with those spreading misleading information to damage her image.

Angela also clarified that she was not evicted by her landlord, stating:
Nigerians, if you believe that eviction story, you can believe anything on social media. Tufiakwa! I shouldn’t be worried, but I’m no longer safe in this country. I’m not owing any rent. The eviction story is just a plot with my landlord to make it look like an eviction. I wasn’t even in that video, so why are people so gullible?”

She continued, “Imagine if I were actually in the house, would you believe that story then? There are evil people in the world. Leave me alone. You say no, okay, the battle line has been drawn. I’m coming for you all!”

Angela also added that anyone who pays others to spread false narratives about her is “evil” and stated that she’s ready to take action against those involved. “We must make an example of someone first,” she said.
