Ghana Police Responds To Alleged Arrest of Serwaa Amihere, Clarifies It Is For A Music Video

The Ghana Police have released a statement regarding the alleged arrest of Media Personality, Serwaa Amihere.

A few hours ago, it was reported that the multiple award-winning media personality, Serwaa Amihere has been arrested by the Ghana Police.

According a report by NKONKONSA.com, Serwaa Amihere was picked up by some police officers. In the photo circulating online, the media personality is seen without her usual glam. She wasn’t wearing a wig or makeup or body-hugging clothes.

Serwaa Amihere, who is a well-known Ghanaian Broadcast Journalist and news presenter at GHOne TV, was spotted in handcuffs while being led away, she could also be seen crying.

Anyway, according to the statement from Ghana Police, Serwaa wasn’t arrested as previously reported. But the picture of her in handcuffs was for a music video she was shooting.
