Black Sherif Pauses Performance At Tidal Rave Event To Condemn Illegal Mining

Ghanaian musician Black Sherif, has joined the growing list of public figures speaking out against the harmful effects of illegal mining, also known as galamsey, on the country’s water bodies and forest reserves.

During his performance at the Tidal Rave event held last night at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel,  the “Kwaku the Traveller” star took a moment to display visuals showing the devastation caused by galamsey. The footage clearly struck a chord with the crowd, who enthusiastically chanted “Blacko, Blacko” in support.

Black Sherif is using his platform to raise awareness about the dangers of illegal mining, making him the latest public figure to express concern over the environmental damage it causes.
