Samuel Jessen, Chattanooga Little Boy Killed in Haunted Hilltop Accident

Samuel Jessen, a Chattanooga little boy has been killed following an accident at the Haunted Hilltop attraction in Harrison, Tennessee.

Jessen was hit by a tractor in a very unfortunate accident that occurred during a recent visit to the attraction.

The incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. on Friday, October 11.

Jessen had reportedly jumped into some bushes as a hayride passed, intending to come out and scare the riders. Reports indicate there was a mishap when he tried jumping out to get on the trailer and ended up being run over.

Samuel Jessen was later revealed to be a student at the Chattanooga School for Liberal Arts.

The local community has organized a GoFundMe to raise money for the family. His parents, Chris and Katie were described as pillars in the community who always out helped whoever needed help.

Sam leaves behind his parents and three siblings.

“We are heartbroken and grieving the loss of Samuel Jessen, who died in a tragic accident Friday night. There are no words right now, but we are thankful that we do not grieve without hope. Samuel’s faith was in Jesus Christ, and that faith has now been realized,” the Two Rivers Church Chattanooga, where the Jessen’s attended, shared in a social media post.
