“If You Don’t Pay Tithes, You’ll Reach Heaven Poor and Struggling Like Lazarus” – Claims Nigerian Pastor U.O. Miracle

In a sermon that sparked conversation both in his church and online, Nigerian pastor U.O. Miracle shared his views on the significance of tithing in Christianity.

He told his congregation that while failing to pay tithes wouldn’t stop them from reaching heaven, it could impact their status in heaven and affect their financial well-being on earth.

Offering reassurance to those who don’t tithe, Pastor Miracle emphasized that they could still make it to heaven, but their spiritual journey might come with struggles and discomfort.

He referenced the biblical story of Lazarus, the poor man who made it to heaven, explaining that Lazarus arrived “with his dirty body” and without any special privileges. “If you don’t pay your tithe, you’ll go to heaven, but in the manner of Lazarus. You’ll be poor on earth but still reach heaven.

Tithers, on the other hand, will go in the style of Abraham. Lazarus entered heaven as a poor man, with his body already consumed by worms and covered in sores,” he explained.
