A Cave Junction, Oregon family are seeking the help of authorities and the public in a search for their 15-year-old, William Herren who went missing in Portland.
Herren reportedly went to the Portland Zoo on September 23, 2024 and has not been heard from since.
The family made a report to Portland Police but after a couple of weeks with little updates have decided to go public to seek help.
Angela Don Pofahl who describes herself as Herren’s auntie shared to Facebook: “This is my nephew William Herran age 15 ran away from a program in Portland Oregon nobody has heard from him or seen him in 2 weeks,”
According to Pofahl, the family resides in Cave Junction and are planning to go up to Portland to carry out their own search due to the lack of help from the police. They asked anyone with any info to reach out.

She continued: “We his family reside in cave junction… we r making plans to go up there to look for him, his mom has sat on the phone for hours trying to talk to a police officer with no response but being hung up on please if anyone sees him and can give us leads on his whereabouts can u reach out,”
William Herren is 5 foot 5 tall and 120 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen at the Portland Zoo on September 23rd.
