Aaron David Spencer, an Arkansas father is facing first degree murder charges after shooting and killing a man who r*ped his daughter and subsequently kidnapped her.
Spencer chased down Mike Fosler, the culprit, after he found out his daughter was missing at home.
He came on Fosler’s car and attempted to get him to pull over but he kept running and eventually, he stopped him.
A scuffle ensued during which Spencer shot and killed Fosler.
The Lonoke County Sheriff’s Department charged Aaron Spencer with first-degree murder, angering his family and all those hearing about the case.

To secure Spencer’s freedom his wife, Heather, started a GoFundMe.
She wrote: “I’m raising funds to pay for legal fees for my husband for the murder charge he is facing after saving our child from a predator. In the summer of 2024, our child was groomed and raped by a 67-year-old friend of a family friend. He was charged but released on $50k bail and is awaiting court in December. At 1 a.m. on Tuesday morning, we were awoken by our daughter’s dog barking. We checked on her and found that she was not in her bed. Frantically, we called friends, family, and 911.”
According to her, her husband then went out to find their daughter himself. By pure luck, he ran into the predator with their daughter in his car attempting to flee.
“My husband went blindly searching for our 14-year-old. By the grace of God, he passed the predator’s vehicle on the road and followed them, trying to get him to pull over with our child. Instead, the predator ran with our minor child. My husband was able to catch up to him and retrieve our child. In the process, he was attacked and did what he needed to protect himself and our daughter,” she added.
Heather Spencer said she’s seeking funds to properly defend her husband in the upcoming court case and to fight off those charges of murder.
The Aaron Spencer GoFundMe was going well until it was eventually stopped by the platform itself for unspecified reasons. They paid money back to donors sending Heather scrambling to find another way to raise the cash. She’s currently using Venmo and CashApp, according to her latest update.
Aaron Spencer, meanwhile, has been released on bail. A massive movement has started calling for his freedom and for him to face zero charges.
