Social media users are calling for justice for the family of a yet-to-be-identified pedestrian who was killed by a hit-and-run driver on the Kanda Highway on Tuesday.
According to reports, a man was killed late Tuesday around 8:30 p.m. on the Kanda Highway in Accra.
A V8 driver who was speeding struck the pedestrian who died on the scene.
The driver stopped initially but then sped away presumably after realizing the dire condition of the pedestrian he struck.

Police later arrived on the scene to commence their investigations.
Social media users reacting to the news called for more surveillance cameras to be set out on the highways so that such culprits can easily be arrested.
