Mei Leung Parents – Tiktoker’s Viral Post Raises Allegations of Being Related to Vera Wang

TikTok star Mei Leung’s viral posts about her absurd spending habits in New York City has gotten the internet interested in finding out about her parents.

Mei Leung, a TikTok star with over 100k followers, has been going viral over the past few days due to her videos.

In two videos talking about her spending habits, Mei left social media users stunned and raised questions about her actual parentage.

In one video, Mei revealed that she and her friends spent over $20,000 on one night out in NYC.

The expenses included eight packs of water, a pack of red bull, 1942 Magnum, Ace Rose and more. Added to some other fees and sales tax the entire night came out to $21,636. The total went up even higher when you add them paying for additional tables.

Her video went massively viral garnering over 4million views to her page which has only about 105,000 followers.

In a second video which has over two million views, Mei Leung listed her expenses for September. Including items like her mortgage, car payment, WiFi, clubbing, shopping and more, she came out to a total figure of $85,452 for just the month of September.

Most commenters were stunned to see the casual way she listed out all those expenses with comments such as: “Currently my weekly budget for groceries is €100 kkkcrying”, and “Paying 860$ for H20 is INSANE”

However, other users had a different theory for her wealth – many claimed Mei Leung was the daughter fashion mogul Vera Wang and her ex-husband.

As one commenter said: “If your asking yourself how ? Her mom is Vera Wang,”

That sent people on a wild goose chase to discover Mei Leung’s parents. No one knows her actual parents but Vera Wang certainly isn’t her mother.

Vera Ellen Wang is an American fashion designer who worked for Vogue and Ralph Lauren before launching her own bridal gown boutique in 1990. She was previously a figure skater before launching her career in fashion.

Born June 27, 1949, in New York City to Chinese parents, Wang gained international recognition for her wedding dress designs which have been worn by numerous celebrities.

Aside from wedding dresses, her brand has expanded to include ready-to-wear fashion, accessories, fragrances, and home goods.

In June 1989, Wang married investor Arthur P. Becker and the couple have two adopted daughters, Cecilia and Josephine. Vera Wang and Becker divorced in July 2012.
