Ama Governor and eight other anti-galamsey protestors have been granted bail.

During their latest appearance at the Accra High Court presided over by Justice Comfort Tasiame on Monday, October 7th, 9 individuals were granted bail in the sum of GH¢70,000 with two sureties each.

The released defendants are also required to report to the police at least once a week.

Aside from Ama Governor, those released include Emmanuel Gyan, Emmanuel Kwabena Addo, Ziblim Yakubu, Oheneba Prempeh, Philip Owusu Kwabena, Akisibik Desmond, Von Coffie, and Sadik Yakubu.
