Columbus Ohio-based digital creator Shannon Loos went massively viral Friday for her game-changing coverage of the Katie Santry TikTok drama as it wound to a close.
Loos, a next-door neighbor of Santry’s provided her own coverage of the drama that was kicked off by TikTok creator Santry finding a rug in her backyard.
Santry kicked off a firestorm earlier this week when she found the rug in her backyard and people started speculating on why it must have been buried with the most popular guess being as a bodywrap.
Things became even more intense when Columbus K-9 dogs supposedly sniffed a ‘scent’ in the rug and everyone started expecting a real human body to turn up.
However, the saga came to a disappointing end Friday when officials found no evidence of any kind of remains in the rug.
“Investigators began digging at the site at approximately 9:00 AM and removed several small rug pieces from the ground,” the police department said in an email statement. “The pieces all tested negative for human or animal remains and, at this time, there are no plans for further testing.”
Nevertheless, other than Katie Santry, one person who received critical acclaim for her coverage of the final day activities was Shannon Loos.
Her Facebook Live went massively viral and commenters on social media all said her page was the place to watch proceedings.
