Ralph Akintope Adedeji Dies – GoFundMe Set UP for Tulane University Student and Posse Scholar Following Abrupt Death

Ralph Adedeji, a 19-year-old Psychology Major at the University of Tulane and a Posse Scholar has abruptly died.

Adedeji’s death occurred Sunday, September 29th, 2024, according to his family who set up a GoFundMe to raise money to bring his body back to Los Angeles for burial.

Ralph Akintope Adedeji entered the University of Tulane on a full scholarship. He was on the pre-med track when his tragic death occurred. His family revealed his ultimate dream was to be a pediatric surgeon.

Dr Mike Hoerger, a top COVID scientist, said of Adedeji: “Ralph Adedeji, a 19 year old Tulane psychology major and Posse scholar on the pre-med track, died abruptly this week after recent health changes. He worked closely with several of my colleagues and had tremendous potential.”

The Center for Academic Equity had similarly high praise for the deceased student: “His infectious smile and uplifting spirit brought so much joy and light to our days. He had a unique way of making everyone feel valued and appreciated and his impact will forever resonate in our hearts. We will miss you dearly, Ralph,”

The GoFundMe from his family has so far raised $44k out of its $50k goal. The funds are to be put towards flying his body to Los Angeles to be buried beside his mother and to organize his memorial which is set for October 21st, 2024.
