Social media user have slammed Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei, after he tried to protect the NPP government from being blamed for the galamsey menace.
Prince David Osei in a post on social media said Ghanaians should not solely blame this government for galamsey but that the issue should be beyond politicization.
“It is a collective responsibility for all citizens of Ghana to address the root causes, including poverty, greed, corruption, and selfishness. We must prioritize this issue beyond political interests and work together as a nation to eradicate illegal mining,” he wrote.
However, netizens pointed out that the NPP solely blamed Mahama for dumsor therefore his attempt to protect his beloved party was simply for his own selfish interests.
Others simply pelted him with insults.
“Most senseless actor in Ghana right now,” one angry netizen wrote.
Another said: “Since this dude join the NPP all his sense vanished chai😢😢 😢😢”
