Actress Habiba Sinare, the ex-wife of former Black Stars forward Abdul Majeed Warris, has revealed that she will never marry a man from the North ever again.
According to her, men from the North are too difficult to deal with and uncompromising in their positions hence she will not make that mistake again.
“I’m a Northener but I cannot marry a Northerner again and I’m not even joking. Dating them is something else, marrying them is horribly something else. They are very difficult people. They don’t understand why you should work, they don’t understand why you should even have money more than your husband. Why?” she told MzGee in an interview.
Habiba Sinare added that the reason her marriage with Majeed collapsed was due to intereference from her in-laws.
She said the straw that broke the camel’s back was when her father-in-law alleged that her son with Warris did not belong to him.
Marrying a northerner is horrible. I cannot marry or date any northerner again in my life.
