UDS Pharmacy Student Brutally Murdered

Published by

A tragic incident has claimed the life of Mohammed Zakiu Wumpini, a second-year pharmacy student at the University for Development Studies (UDS).

Mohammed was reportedly murdered while on his way to watch a football match. His lifeless body, discovered the next morning, showed multiple stab wounds, pointing to a brutal and senseless attack.

The young student was allegedly stabbed in the chest on Wednesday, September 25, and his body was found the following day, Thursday, September 26, on the university campus. Attempts to reach him by phone had been unsuccessful, prompting concern before his body was discovered.

Initial reports hinted at the possibility of an armed robbery, as his phone and motorcycle were missing.

However, family accounts have cast doubt on this theory, as Mohammed’s valuables were eventually found intact. This has led to growing suspicions that the killing was premeditated, rather than a robbery gone wrong.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident.
