A former Bridge Creek High School football star, Logan James has died following a tragic accident.

James’ death was revealed on social media by his family.

Trenette James wrote in a post on Facebook: “Struggling to grasp the reality of this awful nightmare. There are no words! We’re all going to miss you so much Logan James!”

Her post was accompanied by a series of photos of James’ graduation.

Logan James joined Southeastern Oklahoma State University following his graduation from Bridge Creek in Blanchard. He made the football roster as a freshman for the 2022 school year.

News of his passing sparked commiserations from friends of the family.

“I still can’t believe this has happened. Logan, you will truly be missed,” read on comment on Trenett’s post.

Another said: “I’m so sorry to hear. Prayers to your family.”
