Ghanaian Actress Beverly Afaglo has shared her thoughts on the trend of flaunting a lavish lifestyle on social media, explaining that many people do this solely to attract followers, even though their real lives don’t reflect the same luxury.
Speaking during an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo show, the actress advised people not to feel pressured to show off a wealthy lifestyle on social media if it’s not true.
She pointed out that some people post pictures with things they don’t actually own just to impress others. She emphasized the importance of being honest and warned against tricking people to maintain a fake image of success.
Beverly also encouraged young people not to rush to get material things, reminding them that life happens in stages. While she acknowledged that luck can help, she stressed that it’s more important to focus on having a good quality of life instead of chasing luxury.
