Freedom Jacob Caesar aka Cheddar real name Nana Kwame Bediako, the leader of the New Force Movement, has angered many of his own followers after attacking the anti galamsey protestors.

Bediako recorded a video to react to the ongoing #FreetheCitizens movement which is calling for the Fix the Country protestors who were arrested at the anti-galamsey demo to be freed.

However, Cheddar instead of supporting the movement rather condemned them for engaging in violence, and then alleged that the protestors were not fighting for Ghanaians but rather fighting for the NDC.

“All of these protests and demonstrations that have happened in this country in the past year or two, they are organised by one of the duopolies. It is the same politicians that are behind it…Do your research, this is not about galamsey. This is about a political interest,“he said.

Cheddar’s claim angered his followers most of whom are young people interested in the fight against galamsey.

“The year you go win elections for Ghana be the year Arsenal go win Champions League,” one user said.

“You are not fit for purpose,” another user said.
