Controversial Ghanaian Loud-mouth social media influencer, Elorm Ama Ababio, popularly known as Ama Governor was picked up earlier today at the 37 military hospital with other protestors for causing a nuisance to the general public.
Ama Governor, along with other protesters were arrested during the #OccupyJulorbiHouse demonstration over the weekend and they were hauled before the court today.
During her arrest, Ama questioned the police men why they wanted to see a 26-year-old in handcuffs for protesting against Galamsey activities which has destroyed the water system in most regions.
The illegal mining activity has caused a lot of hardships for the regions that has been affected. It has become almost impossible to have access to potable water as a result of the activities.
The silence by the Government and other leaders in the country forced Ama Governor and other protester to lead a demonstration against the practice.
Unfortunately for them, they had to pay a huge price for their actions.
