U.S.-based Ghanaian political commentator Kevin Taylor has reacted to trending news regarding media personality Afia Pokua being forced to Manhyia to apologize to Ashanti chiefs for her attacks on Otumfuo.
According to Kevin Taylor, one big reason Ghana is not progressing is because no one is ready to listen to the truth.
Taylor said there is nothing wrong with what Afia Pokua said because she’s right.
He accused the Asantehene, Okyehene and many other chiefs of benefitting from galamsey which is why they have failed to take any action against it.
Taylor said Otumfuo had bragged many times about the extent of his power so if he’s as powerful as he claims he should stop galamsey.
Kevin Taylor said Otumfuo and the other chiefs are not doing anything because they’re benefitting from the destruction of our water bodies.
