Ten demonstrators, including controversial Ghanaian attorney Ama Governor, were detained during a three-day rally at the Democracy Hub and have since been remanded by an Accra Circuit Court.

Among them is Ralph St. Williams, also known as “Fellow Ghanaians,” who was arrested on September 17, 2024, during the NDC’s “Enough is Enough” protest in Accra.
The Ghana Police Service presented the group in court on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. In total, 39 protesters were arrested by police between September 21 and 23, 2024, during the rally.

These individuals are being arraigned in batches across two circuit courts, Court 6 and Court 10.
The ten detainees, who face charges including unlawful assembly, unlawful damage, assaulting a police officer, and conspiracy to commit a crime, pleaded not guilty. As a result, the court has remanded them in custody until October 8, 2024.
