Afia Pokua And Mona Gucci Go Down On Their Knees At Manhyia Palace To Apologize To Asantehene For Derogatory Comments

Afia Pokua, Mona Gucci, Sofo Kumchacha and some representatives from Media General have made a courtesy call to the Otumfour Osei Tutu II to apologize to him and the entire Asanteman over their recent derogatory statements.

About a week ago, Afia Pokua who was guest on Mona Gucci’s show made some comments in defence to the Bono people over some actions from the Asantehene.

Afia Pokua accused the Asantehene for his perceived silence amid ongoing conflicts involving his subjects and other tribes, including the Bonos.

Mona Gucci, the host of the show, did not also ask Afia Pokua to retract her sensitive comments.

The majority of Ghanaians have since harshly criticised the two’s remarks and deeds, which has prompted them to personally apologise to the Otumfuo at the Manhyia Palace.

In a series of videos and photos that have popped up online, Afia Pokuaa and Mona Gucci are shown looking regretful while donning black attire.
They are said to have followed Prophet Kumchacha to Manhyia Palace in order to apologise to Otumfuo.
