Broda Sammy has stated emphatically that contrary to the reports out there, gambling is not a sin.
Discussing this as a panel on United Showbiz Show, the controversial gospel musician gave instances where a rich man used the money he won from staking lotto to complete his (Broda Sammy’s) church building.
According to him, pastors or men of God who preach against lotteries or betting often advice their family members to apply for American lottery.
“Pastors who preach against betting are hypocrites! They tell their family members to not gamble but they allow their family members apply for American lotteries. They have decided to take away everything that makes sweet about Christianity about us away from us. But I won’t allow them.” He stated.
Broda Sammy also lamented about the pastors who preached about avoiding pork. He emphasized that Pork is the sweetest meat in the world and asking people to not eat it for biblical reasons is wrong.
