Gospel musician Broda Sammy has disclosed that a political party has reached out to him to create a song for their 2024 campaign. He mentioned that he has already received half of the payment he charged and is looking forward to getting the rest once the music video for the song is complete.
Broda Sammy expressed his gratitude for the recognition he received from the political party, acknowledging his contributions to the music industry and his worth as an artist. This appreciation has earned his support, and he plans to vote for the party in the upcoming elections.
“I was approached to produce a song for one of the presidential candidates, and I must say, I feel truly honored that they know me and have shown respect for my work as a musician. Their recognition has pulled me toward them, and I’ll be voting for them. Honestly, I would have done the song even if they paid me just one cedi, because what really matters to me is the respect they’ve shown by coming to me for the song,” he said.
He further mentioned that he remains open to working with other political parties that value his music and would be more than willing to create a song for them as well.
