Ghanaian actor cum Farmer and politician, John Dumelo has petitioned the Government to lease him the National Cathedral land to convert into a lucrative farm that will benefit the general public.
According to him, he doesn’t want to the land to go to waste and as a farmer, he wants to make it productive.
“The national cathedral land is about 9acres. I can see some dam there too. Can the authorities pls lease the land to me to do dry season urban farming? I can set up the irrigation system within 3 days and we can harvest tomatoes by Jan 7 2025. Farmers hate wastage. #idey4u”. He wrote on Facebook.
Meanwhile, the Ghanaians are still lambasting the Nana Addo lead government for plunging the state into economic hardship by investing the whopping sum OF 58million Dollars in the National Cathedral which hasn’t materialized.
