Controversial U.S. based Ghanaian political commentator, Kevin Taylor has warned voters in the Ashanti Region that the NPP is planning to topple Otumfuo Osei Tutu II as the most ‘powerful chief in Ghana’.
According to him, Akufo-Addo and his Akyem Mafia hate Otumfuo’s power and are plotting to make the Abuakwa chief, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori-Panin the most powerful ruler in Ghana.
Taylor alleges that this plan would be put into effect the moment the NPP wins the 2024 election and Bawumia comes into power.
He said the Akufo-Addo Akyem mafia are destroying all the Ashanti parts of the party so they can hold onto power longer, pointing at how Alan Kyeremanten was snubbed for flagbearer.
Taylor said he’s warning people in the Ashanti Region that if they vote Bawumia into power, they would witness a plan to make the Asantehene irrelevant.
