Doug Lindsey, Delton Motorcyclist and Battle Creek Motorcycle Club President, Is Dead

Doug Lindsey, a Delton Michigan motorcyclist and longtime President of the Battle Creek Motorcycle Club, has died.

Lindsey’s death occurred Sunday, September 15th, 2024. He died in a motorcycle accident in Battle Creek.

Doug’s wife, Nicole, announced his tragic passing in a statement shared on social media.

“Yesterday was the worst day of our entire life. We lost the most amazing husband, father, son, man, friend, and just best person in the whole world. He was the ying to my yang. He balanced me and was my better half. He was my everything, my partner, and the rock of our family. We are at a loss for words.” Nicole Lindsey said.

Doug Lindsey, originally from Yucaipa CA, was President of the Battle Creek motorcycle club for 11 years and was instrumental in setting up multiple motocross competitions as well as mentoring numerous motorcyclists, most of whom took to social media in shock over news of his passing.

“I’m still at a loss for words, I don’t know what to say. You were an amazing person and it doesn’t feel real. Race in peace Doug Lindsey,” one colleague wrote.

A Celebration of Life is set for Saturday, 21st 1pm at the Battle Creek Motorcycle Club.

Doug is survived by his wife, Nicole and their three daughters.
