Your Gov. Couldn’t Use 8 Years To Get Rid Of It! – Peeps Bash Nicholas Omane Acheampong For Claiming NDC Started Galamsey

A section of Ghanaians have expressed disappointment in gospel artiste-turned-NPP sympathizer, Nicholas Omane Acheampong, for attributing the ongoing galamsey crisis to the opposition NDC party.

The illegal mining activities, commonly known as galamsey, have led to the contamination of several water bodies and waterfalls, making it difficult for many Ghanaians, particularly in affected regions, to access potable water.

Despite these challenges, Nicholas Omane Acheampong has pointed fingers at the NDC, alleging that the party is responsible for the situation. According to him, the NDC facilitated the entry of foreigners into Ghana, equipping them to mine illegally, which in turn led to the destruction of the country’s water bodies.

Furthermore, Acheampong claimed that this was a deliberate strategy by the NDC to discredit the NPP government, making it unpopular with the electorate.

He added that even if President Nana Addo had sent soldiers to the galamsey sites to arrest the illegal miners, these same foreigners would have disguised themselves as soldiers and killed Ghanaians, all in an attempt to sabotage the NPP government.
