Annaliese Nielsen is an alleged former girlfriend of Foo Fighter’s frontman Dave Grohl who has hit the spotlight following his recent baby mama drama.
Grohl several days ago admitted to fathering a child out of wedlock with a yet to be identified woman.
That sent the media and the entire social media landscape on a search to discover the identity of Dave Grohl’s mistress.
One of the candidates whose name has popped up is Annaliese Nielsen, a former alleged lover of Grohl’s. Details of their relationship were released by the New York Post in light of the recent baby mama drama.
Nielsen spoke out and denied fathering a child for Grohl to the Post but nevertheless, she’s still got the attention of the world by virtue of being one of the first mistresses’ of Grohl’s whose identity has been uncovered.

Annaliese Nielsen (real name Lara Nielsen, born 1984) is famous for starting the website Godsgirls which featured photos of women who were heavily tattooed or had piercings. The company earned her the nickname the ‘alt-p*rn’ goddess from Gawker.
The site featured photos in the alt p*rn/ erotica genre and exclusively featured ladies with ‘tattoos, piercings, and rebellious haircuts’, as it was once famously described.
Nielsen founded Godsgirls in 2005 and officially launched it in 2006 when she was 21. The site eventually folded but was massive in its time.
Following its collapse, Annaliese released a longform statement to explain what happened, revealing they had faced challenges in the cost of producing content, adequately compensating models and most of all, being plagued by a lawsuit and scandal after featuring a model on the site who was underage.
“…while I was still present working at Godsgirls at the time this photo shoot was produced I did not find out until after my time at Godsgirls had come to an end that the model in question had in fact been under the age of 18 at the time of her shoot,” Annaliese wrote. “Godsgirls as a business followed all federal regulations for adult businesses and ID was taken for every model before they were given access to the website.”
However, Annaliese said the system was imperfect and could be gamed much like “the door at a bar where people can make it through with ID that has been doctored. There was never *any* intention with Godsgirls to do anything but run a completely legal, compliant and ethical business but in this moment we failed and a photo shoot that should have never existed was produced on our watch,” she said.
She added that everyone made mistakes but that there was never any intention to break the law or produce content that was harmful.
Following the collapse of Godsgirls, the ever resourceful Annaliese Nielsen founded a social networking group for ladies called ‘Girls Night In’ in 2016.
“It’s a club, and it’s a bunch of girls, or at least people who don’t identify as male, getting together and doing all kinds of stuff,” she told Good Morning America at the time.
The group had about 2,000 ladies at the time ranging in age from 18 to mid-40s. They posted about anything from politics to fashion and relationship advice or even, s*xual assault. It was highly exclusive and only members could nominate other ladies to join.

Annaliese, who has a Masters Degree in Women’s Studies from the University of Honolulu also, attended cooking school and has worked at several restaurants in Los Angeles. Nielsen also established a private catering business from her home and frequently posted recipes and cooking videos to her Instagram page at the time.

Annaliese Nielsen was discovered to have had a prior relationship with Dave Grohl after the musician revealed he had fathered a child outside his over two decade old marriage.
An investigation from the New York Post identified Nielsen as a former girlfriend of Grohl’s, although she denied fathering his child.
A roommate of hers at the time, Tyler Ammons said she once found Annaliese and Dave on their sofa cuddling somewhere in 2018 when he had long been married and fathered three children.
“I felt uncomfortable knowing he has family and children and I left,” Ammons exclusively told The Post. “It was casually a thing the whole time [we lived together]. She would leave and go and see him. She was going to go on tour with them around 2019.”
A second source who knew Annaliese through her social networking group Girls Night In, also told the Post: “She had pictures … She [had a relationship] with him for years. She would say, ‘He paid for all my bills.’ It’s like, why are you telling us this?” said the anonymous source.
Annaliese told the New York Post that she was not the father of Grohl’s child.
“I have nothing to say except for that is absolutely false.”
She also denied an affair, saying: “That is a person who I had a brief friendship with who I know through friends of friends.”
Dave Grohl recently admitted cheating on his wife and welcoming a child, sharing in an Instagram post: “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he said.
Grohl and wife Jordyn Blum, who he married in 2003, share three daughters: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10. He was previously married to Jennifer Youngblood and reportedly cheated on her too.
