Ghanaian High School Cleaner in the U.S.A In Tears as Students Gift Him New $20,000 Jeep Wrangler

A Ghanaian cleaner at a high school in the United States of America, Francis Apraku, has been left in tears and shock after receiving an amazing and unexpected gift from his students.

Apraku, who is a cleaner (custodian) at James Madison High School in Vienna, Virginia, got the shock of his life when some of his students raised money to buy him his dream car, a Jeep Wrangler.

According to the students, who are sophomore (second-year) students at the school, the Ghanaian is more than their school custodian as he’s like a second father to them therefore they decided to reward him for his goodness.

“He’s more than a custodian, he’s a friend to us. He’s filled with joy. His kindness is contagious and he just said that his dream was to get a Jeep Wrangler and we were like, ‘Let’s get him a Jeep Wrangler,’” student Bennett Hibshman old WTOP news.

Another student Tyson Murphy said: “He’s just a really hard worker, so caring for everyone. He always has a good mood. He always says ‘What’s up’ to us, he’s always giving us fist bumps and stuff,”

The students raised the money via GoFundMe and got Apraku his Jeep, leaving him speechless.

“I don’t believe this was happening in my life. … I give thanks to almighty God for making today for me.” the Ghanaian said upon seeing his gift.

Apraku has been in the United States for ten years, according to WTOP news.
