A pastor at Hope Community Church in King of Prussia PA, George Searfoss is dead following a car accident.
Searfoss’ death occurred on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024.
“My dear friend and hero George Searfoss was taken from us last night in a car accident. He was a pastor in KOP and ran a grass roots charity called Love Works. He lifted up the lost and desperate and helped so many people whom no one else would,” a post from Kathy Hydier announcing Searfoss’ death read.
George Searfoss was an executive pastor with Hope Community Church in King of Prussia. He ran a charity as Hydier noted and was also chaplain for the King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Company.

Searfoss was above all known for one thing and that was helping others.
“George was a pillar of our community and he cared about it deeply. He was a part of so many initiatives to help those in need,” said Upper Merion Supervisor Greg Waks.
