A young Moncks Corner, South Carolina bull rider, Dalton Weise, has tragically died.
The reported death of Weise has left many who knew and loved him completely stunned. No cause of death was given but those in the bull riding community pledged to make mental health a priority going forward.
Weise was a young prodigy, interested in combat sports, bull riding, and wrestling. He competed in numerous bull riding competitions across the United States and internationally and was described as one of the best around. He won championships and was the no.3 ranked bull rider in the world at the time of his death.
Tributes poured in for Weise following the news of his death. Many recollected the complete passion and dedication he had to the sports he loved so much.

“Dalton was remarkable in and out of the classroom: MMA fighter, rodeo rider, and wrestler. He was friendly to everyone, respectful to all, and had such a wonderful sense of humor. My heart is broken into a million pieces, knowing that this young man who had such a bright future is gone.” a tribute read.
Others extended condolences to his parents, Amanda and JD Weise.
“My prayers go out to JD Weise Amanda Weise and his sister. And pray God wraps his arms around you. Love you Dalton Weise see you soon buddy,” another tribute read.
