Ghanaian actress Benedicta Gafah has put an end to the rumors surrounding her impressive physique, clarifying that her slim figure is not the result of liposuction or any form of plastic surgery.
Recently, there had been growing speculation about her tiny waist and flat stomach, especially since she doesn’t follow a strict workout routine. Many online users had assumed she was among the celebrities who had undergone body enhancements due to her stunning appearance, which she often flaunts on social media.
However, Benedicta has now set the record straight, revealing that her ‘perfect’ body is actually the result of an eating disorder, not surgery. During an Instagram live session, she explained, “The reason my stomach is flat is because I barely eat, not because of liposuction. It’s genetic. I rarely feel hungry, and when I do, drinking water makes me feel full. Even when I try to eat, I can only manage a few spoonfuls before I’m full.”
She also shared that her doctor had recommended she take food supplements to help with her eating disorder, but she’s hesitant due to concerns about gaining weight. “My doctor advises me to take supplements to improve my appetite, but I’m afraid of gaining weight if I do,” she confessed.
In addition, Benedicta opened up about her battle with Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), a condition that causes intrusive thoughts and repetitive behaviors that are difficult to control.
