Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, Akuapem Poloo has disclosed that the reason she doesn’t get movie roles is because most movie producers feel she will tarnish their brand.
Speaking to MzGee in a recent interview, the actress bemoaned that when she was arrested for indecent exposure, it made some of her haters happy.
Akuapem Poloo alleged that some close friends of hers who didn’t want to see her progress paid bloggers to write false news about her.
She also lamented about how she has been trying to get movie roles but she was rejected because of the actions of some people.
“Most people don’t want to associate with my brand because they feel I am too loud and boisterous. I went for auditions to secure some movie roles but I was rejected. They felt I was going to ruin their brand.” She stated.
