Ohemaa Mercy’s story about what led to her divorce has led social media users to come after her and accuse her of lying.
The gospel artist in an interview in relation to her divorce said before leaving her marriage, she prayed constantly about it and asked God for guidance.
She said after going for a retreat in the wilderness for months so she could hear God’s voice, God told her to divorce her husband, Isaac Twum-Ampofo.
She added that God even told her husband the same thing he told her, making their divorce amicable.

However, Ohemaa Mercy’s claim has drawn anger from social media users who slammed her for lying about God.
