Veteran Ghanaian actress, Grace Omaboe officially became an octogenarian yesterday in a classy birthday.
In some social media videos shared online, the Veteran actress was accompanied by her children to mark her memorable day and also launch her book.
The celebrity thronged event saw the presence of Abeiku Santana, Pastor Oduro, Nana Ama Mcbrown and many more.
The beautiful event was graced by the three beautiful daughters of Maame Dokono. Maame Dokono has six children, two of whom are based in the United States, two in the Netherlands and the rest in Ghana.
But to celebrate their mother’s historical achievements all the kids came together to celebrate their birthday. Even though Maame Dokono turned 80 years old in June 2024, she decided to crown the 80th-anniversary celebrations with the launch of her book dubbed ‘Unforgettable Maame Dokono’ on Saturday, September 7.
Maame Dokono’s remarkable acting abilities in dramas and films have brought many Ghanaians joy over the past 50 years.
She became well-known as the principal actress of the Obra Drama Group and the face of Akan Drama, Ghana’s most watched television drama series. The renowned mother of six has acted in more than 50 motion pictures.
