Airplane facts with Max, an American aircraft mechanic popular for his social media content, has paid tribute to his late wife Jonessa Jones Comer on the second anniversary of her death.
Jones Comer died in September 2022, leaving her husband, kids and family devastated.
As the second anniversary of her death approaches, grieving husband Max has taken to social media to remember the love of his life.
Sharing a photo of them together, he said: A lot of people ask me why I have gps coordinates tattooed on my arm. They mark the first drop in an endless stream of goodbyes, really.
“Jones and I had always talked about seeing the Irish Sea, so in January of 2023 I went to Ireland and took some of her ashes with me, I took a train to Howth and walked the cliffs and I sent some of her ashes into the sea that she always wanted to see, but never got to while she was alive.” he wrote.
Airplane Facts with Max went on to speak about how their lives changed since Comer’s death and how parenting their two boys (Finnegan and McCoy) since her passing has gone.
He revealed that he was so devastated following her death that he dove into his love for fantasy (Tolkien and Middle-Earth) and thus started his Airplane Facts with Max career.
“People told me grief never goes away, but you learn how to carry it. Honestly this page and making these videos helped me learn how to carry it and gave me something fun to look forward to making, back when I felt like I had died, too. So thank you to everyone who has followed along,” he added.
Following her death, a GoFundMe was started for Jonessa Comer which raised just about $13,000. Max revealed raising their boys and creating content has become his whole life and he now takes each day a step at a time.
