A tragic incident has unfolded involving a Nigerian second-year university student who allegedly kidnapped and took the life of his female friend, also a student, on August 19, 2024.

After the abduction, the suspect reportedly demanded a ransom of 3 million Naira from the victim’s single mother. Shockingly, there are accusations that this same individual had previously k!lled and buried his girlfriend in 2018 and his sister in 2020.

The victim, Christianah Idowu, a third-year student at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), was abducted while on her way to the University of Lagos, where she was completing her industrial training.

Her friend, Adeleye Ayomide, a second-year Philosophy student at Olabisi Onabanjo University, was named as the perpetrator. It is alleged that after receiving 350,000 Naira as ransom from Christianah’s family, Ayomide k!lled and buried her in his father’s compound.

This devastating event was confirmed by a social media personality, Man of Letters (@LettertoJack), who further revealed that Ayomide had previously been linked to the deaths of his ex-girlfriend and his sister.

Nigerian singer, Arya Starr has responded to the news by calling on authorities to seek justice for the girl.
