Edan Darmoni, Celebrated Personal Injury Lawyer Killed in Car Crash on Staten Island

A young and ambitious personal injury lawyer from Staten Island, Edan Claude Darmoni has tragically died following a car accident.

Darmoni, 29, died in a single-vehicle crash on the way to work Wednesday while approaching the merge from Drumgoole Road West onto the New Jersey bound parkway in Annadale. His Ferrari reportedly hit a tree and burst into flames.

Authorities were called to the entrance to the Korean War Veterans Parkway around 9: 51 a.m. in regards to a single-vehicle crash and transported Darmoni to Staten Island University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to his bio, Edan Darmoni was a ‘young, aggressive personal injury attorney’ who is a jack-of-all trades. He received his juris doctorate degree from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center’s Honors Accelerated program.

Working with the law firm Robinson Yablon Cooper & Bonfante, he handles cases involving catastrophic personal injury, construction accidents, and motor vehicle accidents. Duties include negotiating settlements and in case of no agreement being reached, dealing with all aspects of a lawsuit.

News of Darmoni’s death shocked many of his friends who shared tributes on social media.

“Rest in peace to my best friend Edan Claude Darmoni… the sunshine 🌞 of the Darmoni family. I hope you are in a better place you are amazing person with beautiful heart,” one tribute read.

Another said: “My condolences to the whole Darmoni family .. edan was such an awesome human being. Great guy, always helped out others. Always was giving charity to our local synagogue. Very good soul.”
