The New Patriotic Party (NPP) running mate for the 2024 elections, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh aka NAPO, has come under fire from social media users over passing yet more inflammatory comments.
Ever since being named as the Vice Presidential candidate on the NPP ticket, the former Energy Minister has been making comments that trigger social media users and get many people to bash him.
On the very day he was named as the running mate, he denigrated the achievements of Dr Kwame Nkrumah, before he was later forced to apologized. He then referred to the late Professor Mills with a disrespectful term and has caused other controversies with his utterances.
In yet another gaffe, NAPO has been dragged over claims regarding the driver’s mate metaphor being used in this election. According to him, many mates become drivers and perform better than their masters while many drivers are thieves, liars, and useless.
While he was attacking ex-President Mahama, many pointed out the attack could apply to President Akufo-Addo as well.
His comments drew reactions such as: “At least Bawumia is a joker 😂. Napo di3 enko yiee kraaa 😂. Akuayi yari!!! ”
